Community Education officeCommunity Education supports the college mission to promote lifelong learning and enhance the quality of life for residents. The program offers short classes and activities to meet the needs and interests of our diverse community for fun, personal growth, and professional development. Classes are not-for-credit and offered as a complement to the college’s credit programs. There are no tests, credit or grades. Community Education is self-supporting and participant fees cover the costs of instructors, facilities, and registration.

The Kaleidoscope schedule is published in Spring, Summer and Fall. Topics include business and workforce, computers, creative arts, dance, health and wellness, food and wine, home and garden, language and writing, personal growth, student success, and trips and travel. Over 300 instructor-facilitated online classes in partnership with Education to Go are also available in many subjects including business and computers. Programs such as College for Kids, Sports Camps, and the Travelogue film series target special populations.

Offering a wide range of challenging, high-quality learning experiences for active adults. Although these courses are designed for adults age 55 and over, there is no age limit for enrollment. OLLI classes are tuition-free, noncredit and designed in short modules. No previous educational background is necessary. Any adult student is welcome.
