Cost of Attendence
The Financial Aid Office uses the Federal, State and regional guidelines to establish modest budgets which reflect costs for an average student over a nine month period.
When establishing total budget figures used in the determination of financial aid eligibility, Sierra College considers students within certain categories as follows:
- The living At Home budgets are constructed for dependent and independent students without dependents who live with parents and reflect a reduced room and board component assuming a portion of the student's costs are provided by those parents.
- The Residence Hall budgets are constructed for students who live in the campus residence halls.
- The living Away From Home budgets are constructed for all other students who live away from parents.
- 2007-08 Standard 9 Month Academic Year Student Budgets are:
| Item | With Parents | Residence Hall | Off-Campus |
