Review and Corrections
Once you receive your Student Aid Report (SAR) in the mail, read the SAR comments on the front page carefully. Check to be sure that the college you are attending is listed on your SAR. Make changes and corrections to any bold or "assumed" information. If you make changes, send part two of your SAR with the corrections to the address provided to you on the last page. Be sure to sign and date your form before sending it back to the processing center. You may also correct your SAR via the Internet if you have a PIN number by going to www.fafsa.ed.gov.
If you have lost your SAR, want to change your address, or add another schools code number call 1-800-4FEDAID (1-800-433-3243). The Federal Processor will need your name, Social Security Number, and address in order to make any changes or send you a duplicate copy of your SAR. There is no charge for a duplicate.
If your SAR is correct, keep the document for your records. If Sierra College is listed, the Financial Aid Office will also receive an electronic copy of your application from which your aid will be processed.
